Diamond Garage Condos: Initial Excavation Phase Complete!

We’ve completed the first phase of site preparation at Diamond Garage Condos in Cassopolis, Michigan. This DIY effort was a great start, and we’re excited to share the progress before the professionals step in.

The driving force behind this phase was Tom Stephenson, whose 30+ years running Stephenson Land Surveying brought precision to the project. Tom’s passion for excavation, paired with his state-of-the-art GPS technology, was a game-changer. By mounting his surveying equipment on the bulldozer, he set the site’s elevation perfectly. Together with his brother Tim Stephenson, they shaped four building sites, a retention pond, and laid a gravel base for the main entry driveway. Clear skies and perfect timing helped, and we owe a big thank you to our local MacAllister Caterpillar dealer for delivering a bulldozer right when we needed it.

Now, the team at Stone Brothers is taking over to install the storm sewer, water lines, remaining driveway, and finalize the excavation. Their expertise will keep things moving toward our vision for Diamond Garage Condos.

Each luxury garage condo will come with individual drainage systems, including leaching basins, so owners or leasors can wash their classic cars, boats, or toys year-round. Plus, each unit will have climate control and the ability to add a full bathroom, these units are designed for spending quality time with your prized possessions or entertaining friends.
